What is Cyber Essentials?
Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus is a UK government-backed and industry-recognised award run by the National Cyber Security Centre. The scheme was developed in response to the rapid increase in cyber security attacks facing businesses and seeks to offer protection against up to 80% of IT security breaches.
Cyber Essentials or Essentials Plus?
The self-assessment option designed to protect you against a wide variety of the most common cyber attacks.
Cyber Essentials certification helps you get the basics in place and give you peace of mind that your business is protected. With all security processes in place (that’s where we help!), the application itself is a relatively straightforward, simple exercise where you answer the self-assessment questionnaire.
When tendering for government project, Cyber Essentials is imperative and some local authorities and MoD projects are now asking for Cyber Essentials Plus as a minimum.
In addition to the Cyber Essentials self-assessment, your business will also receive an on-site audit of your security controls.
We will work with you to ensure all security controls are implemented prior to your on-site audit.
